The name of the North Port city commissioner appointed to the Sarasota County Tourist Development Council was misspelled in the Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 issues. His name is David Garofalo.

Your editorial misses the entire point. Do more thorough due diligence prior to blindly abdicating your populist stance.
